Description:
Molded pearlware plate with scalloped edges; the central view depicts a cottage overlooking a river; a man and a boy stand between the river and a country road that runs parallel; the border pattern is composed of birds, flowers, and scrolling acanthus leaves. (Fishkill, Hudson River)
