Description:
Blue transfer printed pearlware platter with central view depicting Harvard College with fireworks behind and strolling figures in foreground; the border pattern is composed of floral vignettes inside cartouches with scrolling acanthus leaves and flowers in between.

According to the donor, this platter was orgiginally owned by Mr. Otis Bigelow and purchased from J. D. Laidacker.
