Description:
A molded rectangular, octagonal pearlware platter with blue transfer printed decoration of the "Landing of General Lafayette/Castle Garden New York 16 August 1824" with border (divided in four sections) of clusters of dogwood and other flowers, their leaves and their branches; the back of platter has molded, circular ridge surface.
