Description:
Molded octagonal pearlware well and tree platter decorated with a blue and white transfer printed image of the New Jersey coat of arms surrounded by a flower and vine border.

This platter is from Thomas Mayer's, "American Series of Arms of the States".The New Jersey coat of arms was adopted in 1776.
