Description:
A portrait of actor Paul W. Panzer of the Pathe Players and of the motion picture industry, painted in 1914 by the New York area artist Arthur Watkins Crisp (1881-1974). Panzer played mostly uncredited roles in more than 240 films, serials and shorts between 1905-1952, including "Kid Galahad" (1937) with Edward G. Robinson and "Mildred Pierce" (1945), with Joan Crawford. Formerly F42.
