Description:
Carved horn powder horn with wooden cover; horn incised with map from New York to Lisle Au Galot, with a view of New York harbor, beside 2 holes bored in a lip beside the cover; opposite end carved with one rib at the center.

This powder horn depicts the map route from New York to Lisle Au Galot, near Montreal. It highlights some of the forts of the French and Indian War (1754-1763).
