Ocher, black, and red painted leather presentation shield presented to Empire No. 19 by Alert Hose Co. No. 3; upper half with large, recessed black "3" below recessed panel with "ALERT HOSE Co." in applied, ocher painted lettering; lower half with "19" appliquéd on recessed red shield below recessed panel with "EMPIRE" in applied, ocher painted lettering; recessed, red and black painted stars and foliate designs throughout; wood and wire attached to reverse for hanging.
