Silk lithographed U.S. campaign flag of the Republican candidacy of Ulysses S. Grant for president and Schuyler Colfax for vice president; canton has 37 stars, arranged in two rings of 13 and 19 stars around one large star in the center and four stars in the corners; portrait of Grant in the center with inscription above and below; printed in black, red, and blue on a white ground.
