Horizontal rectangular beadwork purse (reticule) with diagonal corners at the bottom, with various colors of glass beads, pink silk collar and drawstring at top, white beaded fringe across bottom; surrounded with cornucopia motif, floral pattern across bottom.

The object belonged to Mrs. Howell Colby, and was given in memory of the Mary Laman Erwin's sister, Catherine Wales Erwin.
