White cotton stuffed quilt with flower, leaf, and feather design on stipple-quilted ground; central motif of vase with flowers in feathered oval frame, with "MAS / 1815" embroidered below vase.

According to the accession records, this quilt was made for Mary Ann Scott by her bridesmaids. Scott was a relative of soldier and statesman Winfield Scott (1786-1866).
