Description: 
Silk regimental flag fragment of the Third Connecticut Regiment; painted with a silver sword and the Roman numeral "III" on a tan ground; natural linen sleeve for flagpole.
Gallery Label: 
This flag was carried by the Third Connecticut Regiment under the command of Colonel (later Brig. Gen.) Samuel Blachley Webb from January 1, 1781 to the end of the war in 1783. It was given to the Society by the grand-niece of Col. Webb.
