Description:
Silk sewn U.S. Artillery flag, of the Battery B, 3rd Artillery, New York Volunteers; forked tongue shape with 34 stars in the canton in two circles (15 each) and a star in each corner; regiment name block-printed below the canton.
Gallery Label:
This flag was presented to Colonel Joseph Morrison of the 16th New York Artillery in 1865, who served as captain in the 3rd artillery from 1861-63.
