White silk centennial ribbon with blue silk overlay printed in black with "Veteran City Guard/ HARTFORD, CONN." surmounted by "V.C.C." symbol of the organization; white silk ribbon printed in black with "1783-1883/ 7th Regiment Veterans/ N.Y.S.N.G./ Centennial Evacuation Day/ Nov. 26th, 1883."; metal tassle attached half way down at center over white ribbon; fringed ends.
