Red silk satin ribbon printed in gold; depicts five-pointed star with inscription "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC/1861 VETERAN 1866"; inscription below: "42ND/ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT/DEPT. OF THE/POTOMAC/G. A. R./FEBRUARY 1910". Paper label with manufacturer's name applied to lower section of ribbon reverse.
