Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse depicting clothed bust of Richard Nixon facing three quarters to the right; surrounded by legend: "R I C H A R D M I L H O U S N I X O N." Reverse features sculptural rendering of crewelwork pattern of the Great Seal of the United States embroidered by Nixon's daughter, Julie; inscription beneath Seal: "To RN - JN"; legend around line border: "37TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA/INAUGURATED/JANUARY 20TH 1969." Medal is inset into fitted cardboard case with dark blue plastic interior with shaped recesses for medal and triangular medal stand.
