Description:
Oxidized silver salad servers consist of fork and spoon; both fork and spoon have cast anthropomorphic handles rendered as ivy wrapped branches with bird talon stems and curved open-work ends with mounted bird figures; shallow, matte-finished bowls; fork bowl has pierced foliate pattern and five arrow-shaped tines; pointed oval spoon bowl has engraved foliate design at center; both have bat-wing rims applied to upper edges of bowls; each bowl reverse also engraved "Minnie" in gothic-style characters; maker's hallmarks stamped at undersides of the bowls.
