Description:
Pair of wrought silver salt and pepper shakers with lids; pear-shaped bodies with a long narrow necks; bodies covered with foliate and fern repoussé chasing; three, cast paw feet applied to the bodies with anthemion knees; plain, applied bands around the rims; high, domed covers with all over foliate repoussé chasing; upper halves have circular pierce-work; small knob finials applied to the tops; engraved on the bases, "E E G/ JUNE 8, 1901" monogram in script, date in block letters; makers' marks on the cover bezels.
