Description:
Colorless blown lead glass salt; circular form with nine panel cut sides and foot; base is engraved with a crown and monogram and one panel is engraved.
Gallery Label:
According to accession records, this salt is one of four that belonged to either Abigail Cornell, wife of Israel Corse and donor's great-grandmother, or Angeline Burr, wife of Morris Ketchum. Also, the records state that the monogram and crown are of King Louis Philippe of France.
