Description:
Walrus tusk pierced to make cribbage board. Inscribed and blackened with images of a figure in a kayak, foliage, seals on iceberg-all on obverse drying fish on racks on side, seals lounging on icebergs on reverse.

Stuart M. Frank, scrimshaw historian attributes this to Alaskan Eskimo work known as the “Nome School”.
