Whale's tooth engraved and blackened with hunting scene including ship in background with whale and small boat with six figures in foreground.

The scene is a poor copy of "Peche de la Baleine," a painting by the French artist and corsair Ambroise Louis Garneray, published as an engraving in 1835.
