Description:
Red wax wafer with oval seal impression, affixed to back of a business card; side with seal has lengthy handwritten inscription.
Gallery Label:
A letter signed by "[G.?] Loix" found with this seal impression indicates that it was made from a Roman seal found in Tongres, Belgium, in 1892. The seal is said to depict "La Concorde" opposing a declaration of war voted by the Roman senate.
