Description: 
Olive drab wool service cap with brown leather visor; metal insignia plate replicates the state seal of New York; buttons securing chin strap embossed with similar motif (chin strap missing).
Gallery Label: 
According to the accession records, this cap was worn by Colonel Willard C. Fisk while in command of the 107th Infantry, 7th Regiment, National Guard New York, during World War I. Fisk's uniform jacket and puttees are also in the N-YHS Collection.
