Description:
Scalloped edged diamond shaped porcelain dish painted in underglaze blue of varying intensity in a complicated pattern of petal-shaped panels; large "cracked ice" border and concentric sets of stylized leaf and petal designs with a central stylized flower; as close a copy of an 18th century Chinese design; this design was known as the "Kangki Lotus" pattern; blue floral sprays along the exterior.
