White silk satin ribbons printed in black, with scalloped edges; depict shield flanked by two females and surmounted by eagle; with banner below inscribed: "EXCELSIOR"; inscription: "SCHENECTADY/SUNDAY SCHOOL CELEBRATION./BAPTIST CHURCH./My mouth shall speak the praise/of the LORD: and let all flesh bless/his holy name for ever and ever./Psalm exlv. 21"
