Rectangular dome-topped wooden sewing box covered in green velvet; gilded arabesque decoration on top; metal bail; pink velvet on the inside; mirror on inside of lid; removeable tool holder which holds a needle case and a pick; below are 3 compartments with pin cushion, thimble holder (thimble missing) and a shallow compartment; chains and other objects included.
