Description:
Wooden spool box with two stepped tiers, drawer inside lower section with wood en pull, and pincushion surmounting top which can be lifted off, away from finials; upper section contains metal prongs to hold eight spools from which the thread is drawn through ivory eyelets on each of three sides; also holds 11 thread winders of various shapes and sizes, and roll of lace wrapped around wooden spool; drawer holds piece of paper with two needles stuck through it, hook with ivory handle, ivory bobbin, two metal needles, and stub of marking pencil.
