Description:
Porcelain soup plate decorated with blue enamel band combined with gold and iron red scallop around rim; well rim has blue and gold guilloche band; center bowl has a blue and gold shield with the initial "L".

According to the donor, this piece was given to him by Mrs. H.V.R. Kennedy, and "L" inscribed on the plate refers to Lenox Hill.
