Description:
Handwoven and embroidered wool pieced harlequin paisley shawl fragment, in red, blue, purple, yellow, white and black; black center with letters or symbols embroidered to one side, field of boteh and plant motif throughout interlaced with root design running the length of the shawl; warp ends are pieced and embroidered, and have multicolored fringe, selvege edges.
