Description:
Circular brass ship's clock with removable glass front over silver painted sheet brass dial with black painted Roman numerals and other inscriptions; pierced with two holes for winding key; smaller, second-counting dial set above central dial.
Gallery Label:
The inscription "THOMAS POWELL / 1846" was most likely added by the collector, George W. Murdock.
