Description:
Circular brass ship's clock with hinged and latched glass front over dial; face with black painted Roman numerals and other inscriptions; second-counting dial above central dial; face pierced with two holes for winding key.

The inscription "1853 1899 / AUSTIN" may have been added by the collector, George W. Murdock.
