Description:
One pair of shoulder knots and one pair of shoulder straps in black painted metal storage box; shoulder knots of interlaced gold braid with a circular insignia patch with "N.Y." embroidered in gold on light blue textile ground, and black wool felt backing with cloth strap for fastening; shoulder straps with brass eagle centered on white wool felt ground inside rectangular brass border, and black wool felt backing; rectangular storage box with hinged, flat-topped lid.
