Description:
Pair of colonel's shoulder knots; pad with black embroidered shield-breasted eagle on black wool ground, with three rows of gold braid surrounding; strap with interlaced gold braid and gilded metal button embossed with elements of Massachusetts state seal (specifically, a shield with a Native American figure at the center, and an arm grasping a broadsword on top); brass strap fastener.
