Description:
Shield-shaped felt patches; one black and one navy; both have white rayon eagle at top, perched over a crescent moon; and varying numbers of red felt chevrons at bottom of patch; one has two chevrons, the other has three.
Gallery Label:
These patches were worn by members of an Army or Navy corps on the upper left sleeve of their uniform jackets. Two chevrons indicate a corporal, and three a sergeant.
