Description:
Red (now faded) velvet lietenant's shoulder strap with metal embroidered bar at each end and border around the edges.
Gallery Label:
This shoulder strap was worn by the donor's father, Frederick Lockley, Sr., when he served in the Civil War, 1862-1865. The accession record notes that this shoulder strap was worn during the Battle of Cold Harbor.
