Description:
Light brown velvet shoulder strap with metal thread embroidered bar at each end and border around the edges, set on black wool.
Gallery Label:
This shoulder strap was worn by the donor's father, Frederick Lockley, while he served in the Civil War from 1862-1865, in Company I, 7th Regiment of Artillery, New York State Volunteers.
