Porcelain soup plate with shaped edge; blue underglaze border pattern composed of butterflies and honeycoms diapering with secondary border of only honeycomb diapering ("Fitzhugh" border); bounded inside by purple and gilded rust husk band; central image depicts gilded initials in an oval medallion draped with purple and gilded husk ropes; there is an East Indian man above flying purple flags
