Description:
Cardboard box containing an original capsule used in 1918 to determine the order of availability for military service; plastic capsule contains rolled piece of paper with number 8950 printed on one side; box has label indicating capsules were distributed at a victory dinner of the Selective Service Boards on December 14, 1918 at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
