Description:
Spectacles with silver frame, circular colorless glass lenses, wide "C" bridge, and double-hinged temple with elongated loop at end; hallmark consisting of an "H" enclosed in a square stamped on inside of each temple near hinge.
Gallery Label:
The hallmark stamped on these spectacles may be that of Richard Huntington (1786-1855), a silversmith active in Utica, New York, from around 1823 until 1855.
