Description:
Cast silver spool holder shaped like a Ferris wheel; two cast six spoke wheels with loop ends applied to a cross bar through their centers; six bars with applied, cast flower ends are set through the loop ends of the spokes to hold six spools of thread; the cross bar is set through flower shaped holes in the tops of the two cast halves of the stand with ball finials screwed into each end; each half of the stand is formed from two s-scroll legs with c-scroll dividers; seated on four cast shell feet; two cylindrical bars applied between the feet on the legs; maker's marks stamped on one of the feet.
