Description:
Silver spring lorgnon (short-handled lorgnette) with engraved handle and loop; when button on handle is pressed, lorgnon releases spectacles with circular lenses connected by "C" bridge. When closed, lenses rest on top of one another and can be used as a magnifier.

Lorgnons, short-handled lorgnettes, were popular in the early years of the 20th century.
