Pair of steel spurs; U-shaped with engraved lines on exterior and star-shaped wheel at bottom; both have leather strap fastened to top.
Gallery Label: 
These spurs were found by Dr. John Osgood Stone at the Civil War battlefield at Williamsburg, Virginia. They probably belonged to an officer or cavalryman.
