Description: 
Brass arched-band spurs; stepped goads with a ball head and a feathered dial through its center; ends of band are buckles with a leather boot strap run through; brass buckle attached to the boot strap.

These spurs were worn by Brigadier General John Frederick Pierson. He served in the Civil War with the Seventh Regiment of the New York State Militia.
