Description:
Tabletop stereoscope in the form of a multi-hinged rectangular box; bottom section opens to adjustable heights, supported by carved wooden support; top section opens to perpendicular level and is held in place by a metal bar which hooks over a screw; top section houses adjustable photograph holder which slides along metal rod; height of photograph holder also adjustable on two metal rods; top of stereoscope has large circular magnifying glass and two glass lenses below; box has striped inlay around edges and foliate metal mount between lenses and magnifying glass.
