Description:
Pair of steel side saddle safety stirrups with flat oval ring foot rests with four rings of stamped triangles on the top surface to prevent the foot from slipping; bow-shaped section with an ovoid hole in the top to attach to the saddle by a stirrup strap; interior bow-shaped section padded across the top with chamois, jointed at the sides of the foot rest to lock into an upright position.

This pair of lady's safety stirrups were used by Ms. Scott Hall, the donor, from 1906 to 1910.
