Ecru linen bobbin lace and cotton embroidered cambric lace shawl; the overall shape is like a horseshoe, with the back being deeper than the ends; the ground of the lace is machine made linen tulle which has some embroidery, with embroidered cut cambric worked into the design; the overall design is of sprays and scrolls, the outside edges are trimmed with leaf and floral embroidered cut cambric.
