"Straphanger" was created as a humorous and realistic trip on the New York subway system of the early 1980s. Each player picks a marker that looks like an actual subway character, spends a token on each turn, and attempts to get from home to work and back to collect a daily salary. The trip is complicated by many hazards along the way.
