Description:
Cast and wrought silver sugar bowl; oval, boat-shaped body with narrow fluting around the lower body; beaded band applied below the shoulder; concave shoulder; oval domed foot with fluting around the dome and a beaded band around the foot; oval, domed lid with fluting around the dome and a oval wooden finial; two, cast strap handles applied on each side of the body; engraved on the front of the body, "CGI" in foliate script; makers' marks stamped on the underside of the base.
