Description:
Colorless pressed lead glass sugar bowl and cover; octagonal bowl with flared rim on circular pedestal base; four scrolled decorations on stippled ground; octagonal domed cover with ogee-curved sides with flared flower-shaped finial; panels decorated with feather motifs (on outside of cover) and diamond lozenges (on inside of cover); difference in decoration, color, and poor fit suggest that bowl and cover may not be mates.
