Description:
Footed porcelain bowl with interlaced handles terminating in blue and gilded molded flowers; cover has a gilded berry knop; orange and gold lappet decoration at rim and pseudo arms of New York State with gilded initials either side of shield.

This sugar bowl is a part of a set that belonged to John Greenwood (1760-1819) and Elizabeth (Weaver) Greenwood (1764-1831) of New York.
