Wrought silver sugar bowl with lid; oval, boat-shaped body with wide gadrooning around the lower body; seated on a rectangular molded foot with a vertically applied egg and dart footring; chased and repousséd oak-leaf and acorn band applied between the main body and the convex shoulder; vertically applied vertically banded rim; rectangular lid, flat at the edges with a raised rectangular platform in the center surmounted by an acorn finial; two cast, dog's head s-scroll handles attached to the upper and lower body with cast c-scroll joints; engraved, "A M K" in script on the front center; maker's marks stamped on the base.
